In the chapter, The Meeting with Repa Sangye Kyap, Milarepa gives the shepherd boy refuge vows and tells him to go home and investigate, whether the one who goes for refuge is body or mind. Not being able to find a decisive answer, Sangye Kyap pleads the Jetsun to tell him who goes for refuge.
