May everything transform into bliss and excellence ....»
To begin with Rinpoches presents the topic of the teachings based on his book « The Sun of Wisdom » combining commentaries on three great texts :
1. « The fundamental wisdom of the Middle Way », the root text composed by Nagarjuna
2. « Entering the Middle Way », the commentary by Chandrakirti
3. « The Song of Realization – an Authentic Portrait of the Middle Way » sung by the Lord of Yogis, Milarepa.
Also will be quoted : the « Heart of Wisdom » Sutra, several other Milarepa songs as well as songs by different realized masters such as Madjik Labdrön and Rangdjung Dordje.
First Rinpoche explains the two main Middle Way schools and then presents each of the three texts and their authors.

« I prostrate to the One
who teaches that whatever is dependently arisen
does not arise, does not cease, is not permanent,
is not extinct, does not come, does not go
and is neither one thing nor different things
I prostrate to the perfect Buddha
the Supreme of all who speak
who completely dissolves all fabrications
and teaches peace »

0:52:58 quote Karmapa Rangjung Dordje from his « Aspiration prayer of Mahamudra » upon the same subject :
« Listening to scriptures and reasonings frees from the darkness of ignorance.
Contemplationg the pith instructions vanquishes all doubt.

May the brilliance of the three kinds of wisdom increase. »

Please bless us, me and all my students to come,
That we too realize basic selflessness.
Please hold us in compassions's steady grip
That keeps our skandhas free of egoidea. »
