This series of talks was given as a part of the annual summer program called Perfect Purity at Dechen Chöling in France 2005.
These talks were restricted to those students who had completed the requirements set by Shambhala for starting the practice of the Four Root Dharmas, and those students of Khenpo Rinpoche who had his permission to attend. The talks were generally given in the late afternoon session, with the exception of one, which was given at midnight, to enable participants to fall asleep while engaging in Dream Yoga and Luminosity practice.
In these talks, Khenpo Rinpoche commented on selected sections of the root text Zabmo Nangdön, Profound Inner Principles, by the third Karmapa, Rangjung Dorje, and the commentary on that by Jamgön Kongtrul, Lodrö Thaye.
As always, Rinpoche brought this material alive by composing his own verses on the topics and prompting much singing and dancing, so that students could connect with the blissful, illusory, dreamlike aspect of our reality directly, as immediate experience. Here, you will therefore also find the talks on his composition The Essence of the Definitive Meaning, a Commentary on the Three Kinds of Confidence, and Seventy Lines on Self-Liberation.
