During the Jetsun's later visit to Rag-ma Jang Chub Dzong, a young shepherd boy came to see him. Upon asking Milarepa several questions,  the Jetsun challenged him to look for the answers himself and report back. This exchange went on for quite some time, resulting in the boy becoming Milarepa's student and attendant. The Jetsun offered him complete practice instructions and sent him to meditate. He became known as Repa Sangye Khyab, one of the eight heart-sons of Milarepa.

On several occasions, mainly during his tours in 2003-2004, Rinpoche had students read through this chapter and sing the songs that are found in it.

Visiting Karma Triyana Dharmachakra, Woodstock 2003, Rinpoche offered more extensive explanations on the chapter. You will find this talk here.
