Visiting Rigpe Dorje, San Antonio, November 1995, Rinpoche offers three talks on the extraordinary Saṃdhinirmocana Sūtra, མདོ་སྡེ་དགོངས་པ་ངེས་པར་འགྲེལ་བའི་མདོ།

The text consists of ten chapters, most of which begins with a section in prose and ends with verses of teaching. It is excerpts from these verses that Rinpoche explains and also compares them to the intention of such great masters as Jetsun Milarepa.

Heart of Wisdom SutraPrajñāpāramitāhṛdaya, is among the most pivotal teachings of the second turning of the wheel of dharma.

Although it primarily consists in a dialogue between the bodhisattva of compassion, Avalokitesvara and Shariputra, their words are inspired by the Buddha, who is directly present and absorbed in samadhi. At the end of their discussion, the Buddha blesses what has been spoken and encapsulates it with his mantra, in this way making it a sutra, his own words.
