For a few winters, Rinpoche and his group of students were requested to reside at a newly established institute in Delhi in order for it to gain the official Indian approval. Rinpoche in his great kindness accepted.
Rinpoche offered teachings on this text by Nagarjuna in December 1990.

Visiting Palo Alto, 7-8 June 1997, Rinpoche offers a talk on the Seventy Stanzas on Emptiness followed by a question and answer session. He then proceeds to teach two songs of realization by lord Gotsangpa: Melody on the Eight Types of Non-Duality and Seven Delights.

On Hawaii, 21-26 May 1997, during 9 talks, Rinpoche teaches on four texts by the Guardian Nagarjuna. He also gives explanatory reading transmission for Treasury of Knowledge chapter 7.2, and Milarepa's Anger Cooling Song. In the last session, Rinpoche concludes by giving advise for practicing shamatha and vipassana in relation to the teachings they have just received.
