In 1988 during a course, which lasted from 1st-18th of  November at Marpa House Bouddha, besides teaching Maitreya's Distinguishing Phenomena and Pure Being, ཆོས་དང་ཆོས་ཉིད་རྣམ་པར་འབྱེད་པ།   Rinpoche introduced the students to his composition Classifications of Mind, the Essence of the Ocean of Scriptures on Valid Cognition and Logic. 

Furthermore, for public talks, Rinpoche stressed the importance of the view of Nagarjuna and Asangha over 6 public talks.

After Rinpoche had taught Kalu Rinpoche's translation committee in November in Bodhgaya, Rinpoche came back to Bouddha and taught the remaining students further topics from Classifications of Mind and also devoted 5 talks to introducing Classifications of Reasoning.

In Chabil, February and March 1986, Rinpoche explains the very first published version of the Miraculous Key as a preparation for his European tour.

For the first time in Europe, in Munich March 1986, Rinpoche introduces sections from the Miraculous Key over eight talks.

Due to the kindness of Wolfgang Neugebauer we have these teachings on video.

Rinpoche then travels to Kagyu Ling, Plaige, where further sections are presented. Rinpoche also offered a beautiful talk on how the dharma provides the means for dealing with the suffering of illness.

In September 1986, Rinpoche visited the Shambhala Mountain Center.

While there, Rinpoche started teaching his summary of Treasury of Knowledge: the Miraculous Key, offering 3 talks to the Ngedon School.

Rinpoche continued teaching the text to the Nalanda Translation Committee at Karma Dzong, Boulder.

At Marpa House in Bouddha, April 1988, Rinpoche taught his students the Tibetan U-me alphabet. 

With the greatest of care, Ani Jampa meticulously wrote sentence after sentence on the blackboard, for students to copy and Rinpoche would then teach the subject: the chapters 6 and 7. While writing, the students often find the opportunity to ask questions.
