In Bouddha, 1988, Rinpoche gives brief advice how to perform the ritual. With Ani Jampa present to help, the student is set off to practice.

In Bouddha, 1994, when Rinpoche went through detailed explanations of the ritual, he also had Ani Jampa Chodzom lead the students in the ritual.

On several occasions at Karmê Chöling and Dorje Denma Ling, Rinpoche offered the Chö transmission. Rinpoche did that following the testimony of Machik Labdron herself: "I do not bestow the deity transmission to the body, I bestow the transmission of dharma to the mind."

In connection with extensive teachings on the Chö practice, Rinpoche gave in 1996 in Bouddha and in Pullahari teachings on the Praises to Machig Labdron, which were composed by her son, Gyalwa Dondrub. 

The late Acharya Tenpa Negi, who had such a beautiful voice, teaches the Tibetan melodies for reciting the songs.
