On several occasions at Karmê Chöling and Dorje Denma Ling, Rinpoche offered the Chö transmission. Rinpoche did that following the testimony of Machik Labdron herself: "I do not bestow the deity transmission to the body, I bestow the transmission of dharma to the mind."

Rinpoche taught this practice on several occasions at Marpa House, Bouddha, in the late '80s - beginning '90s, to a small number of his students.
Over three years in Bouddha, 1994-1996, Rinpoche offers detailed practice instructions on the 14th Karmapa's Brief Daily Ritual of Offering the Body to the fortunate students gathered. There are training classes in learning the melodies and using the instruments and Rinpoche has Ani Jampa lead the singing of the practice.
Rinpoche is also teaching up in Pullahari for their Rigpe Dorje Winter Program, so the students go back and forth between Marpa House and Pullahari.
You will also find recordings of Ani Jampa and the anis performing the ritual as well as brief instructions to a student.

In connection with extensive teachings on the Chö practice, Rinpoche gave in 1996 in Bouddha and in Pullahari teachings on the Praises to Machig Labdron, which were composed by her son, Gyalwa Dondrub.
The late Acharya Tenpa Negi, who had such a beautiful voice, teaches the Tibetan melodies for reciting the songs.

Visiting Honolulu, Hawaii in June 1996, Rinpoche offers two talks on Karma Chagme's prayer that Rinpoche considers to be a supreme guruyoga to Machik Labdron in that it unites the practice of guruyoga with view.
Rinpoche teaches this prayer to the Ani-las in Bouddha. The year is unknown. You will also find beautiful phone calls with the Ani-las from the same collection of recordings.
