12 October 1990, The Progression of Views
Beautiful quote from Rain of Wisdom, Lodro Thaye, on meditating based on view is like a garuda flying high in space without doubts. On the other hand, not knowing the view, is like a blind person wandering the plains. Therefore, Rinpoche will teach view.
Rinpoche composes verses for each school:
rmi lam gyi phung po rnam pa lnga / re re ni bdag tu ma grub ching / tshogs pa-ang bdag tu ma grub pas / gang zag gi bdag med nyid du nges/ tshe 'di'i phung lnga-ang de bzhin no.
rmi lam gyi snang ba sna tshogs pa / bag chags gyi 'khrul snang yin pa'i phyir / sems tsam nyid du nges pa yin/ da ltar gyi snang ba-ang de bzhin no.
rmi lam sna tshogs gyi snang ba rnam / gcig dang du ma bral ba'i phyir / rang gi ngo wo stong par nges/ tshe 'di'i snang ba-ang de bzhin no.
rmi lam gyi snang ba sna tshogs pa / dang po nas bden pas stong na yang / stong pa'i ngo wor sgrub pa med / skye med spros pa bral ba yin / 'khor 'das chos kun de bzhin no.
rmi lam gyi snang ba sna tshogs pa / bden med rang stong yin na yang / sems nyid gsal stong dbyer med 'di / sgrib ma gzhan gyis stong pa yin / tshe 'di'i snang ba-ang de bzhin no.
