Ornament of the Sutra Collection ཐེག་པ་ཆེན་པོ་མདོ་སྡེའི་རྒྱན།

Developing bodhicitta on the relative and absolute level: On the Mahayana path it is very important to develop love and compassion, as well as the transcendental wisdom which realizes the ultimate truth. The bodhicitta on the relative level consists of skillful means, on the absolute level it is the wisdom which develops through meditation.

On the relative level there are 22 aspects from the beginning of developing bodhicitta to the realization of buddhahood, working for the benefit of all beings is the perfection of the practice of the vows. There are two aspects of the absolute level realized through meditation.

By receiving an initiation both the faith and the devotion of the disciples and the blessing of the teacher come together.
