And that is why suffering is considered a truth. / The tendencies, the originating process, / And that which is inseparable correspond.

The one does not arise with an actual makeup; / The next does not arise as a dualism; / The last is totally free of any stain – / This is held to involve two possibilities.

A correct way to explain the truth of the path / Is in terms of that to be thoroughly understood, / In terms of the factor to be eliminated, / And in terms of the one to be directly attained.
