Taking these basic principles in order: / One property of impermanence, lack of existence; / And one, the defining trait of arising and ceasing; / And one that is stained and freed of every stain.

With suffering, there is the aspect of getting involved, / The characteristics defining a given case / And the interrelation, held to be quite different.

One is a non-thing; not a thing, another; / And one is considered emptiness by nature.

There is that taught to not be a self, due to lacking all traits; / And that whose traits do not correspond to itself; / And that which is taught as the concrete characteristic.
