Mila's Fearlessness and Confidence
There are four collections of songs that the Jetsün sung to the Tseringma sisters:
- Garland of Poetry that is like Pearls
- Garland of Amrita that is like Light
- Garland of Gold that is a River of Vajra songs
- Garland of Clouds of Primordial Awareness, Bliss Emptiness.
The first contains 3 songs: Battle with demons, manifestation of realization that brought confidence in the view, Distinguishing the Provisional from the Definitive.
Tonight excerpts from the second, confidence:
"I knew I was gonna die, and it frightened me, so I train in naturalness, mind that never dies."
and, "Samsara's free all by itself. This is the basic point. And this essential way of being my Lama pointed out to me."
and "Inner awareness has no base and is naked. Movement clear and purified is confident view. Clear light is empty, of this I'm sure. Let birth and death come now, I am not afraid."
and "I realize that appearance is illusion, so bring on the lower realms. I am not afraid."
"Unborn mind is ejected into dharmadhatu, so let me die right now. I am not afraid."
"All that appears is mind's magical display. Ema! The three realms all of samsara, don't exist and appear, what a great miracle."
