Rinpoche first explains the constituents of an individual and then goes on to explain how they do not truly exist using the five great reasonings of the madhyamaka. The teachings are translated into English by the late Acharya Tenpa Negi.

During a retreat in Plaige 1985, Rinpoche also offers public talks translated into French. The topics are the skandhas and introduction to vajrayana.
