Marpa House, Bouddha, November - December 1988 and February 1989
In November 1988, Rinpoche gathered his students for an intense Marpa Institute course. At the end of November, Rinpoche travelled to Bodhgaya to teach Kalu Rinpoche's translation group and came back in the beginning of December.

Kagyu Ling, Plaige, 5-24 August 1989
At Kagyu Ling in Plaige, 1989, Rinpoche extensively taught Maitreya's text Distinguishing Phenomena and Pure Being based on Ju Mipham Rinpoche's commentary. These teachings are prior to the publication of the English translation of this great treatise and the terminology of the text is therefore often explained in detail. Furthermore, Rinpoche offers the most beautiful guided meditations on the verses.
