  • KIBI, Delhi, November 1990

    For a few winters, Rinpoche and his group of students were requested to reside at a newly established institute in Delhi in order for it to gain the official Indian approval. Rinpoche in his great kindness accepted.

    Senior students were conducting Tibetan classes and Rinpoche would visit them to see how they were progressing. The recordings here are of Rinpoche visiting the Tibetan class on Distinguishing Phenomena and Pure Being that was guided by Jim Scott in November-December 1990. Rinpoche inspires the students by composing beautiful verses.

    Visiting Oxford, Rinpoche offers two talks pointing out transformation, the four applications, non-conceptual wisdom being a remedy and its characteristics from Maitreya's text. He then continues to teach the mind- and expanse section of the Gradual Path of the Wisdom Essence.
