During a one-month course at Kagyu Ling, Plaige, France, October 1981, Rinpoche mainly teaches the first five vajra points from Maitreya's Buddha Nature: Buddha, Dharma, Sangha, Element and Enlightenment.

Alongside, he also teaches the progressive stages of meditation on emptiness and introduces the following main topics of dharma:

  • Twelve links of interdependence
  • Five paths
  • Four truths of the noble ones
  • Four thoughts that turn the mind from the oral instructions
  • Engendering bodhichitta through seven steps
  • Pratikmoksha and Bodhisattva Vows
  • Presenting the three kayas.
  • The five great madhyamaka reasonings.

Most of these talks are mainly in Tibetan only, but there is some translation into English by Acharya Tenpa Negi. The last two talks were given at Dhakpo Kagyu Ling according to source notes.

During a retreat in Plaige, February 1985, Rinpoche also offers public talks translated into French. Rinpoche offers a beautiful guided meditation and proceeds to teach the mahayana tenets, the skandhas and introduction to vajrayana. These recordings are translated into French with partial English translation.
