During the summer of 1996 from July 21 to August 4, at the seminar called Laughing Vajra, Rinpoche continued his marvelous exposition of the Gradual Path of the Wisdom Essence.
In addition Rinpoche taught from a variety of other sources, notably the Posthumous Instructions of the four vidyadharas; key sections from Jamgon Rinpoche's Treasury of Knowledge and Complete Liberation of the three Realms; Black Yangti; and sections from the famed Wisdom Guru by Jigme Lingpa.
As always, the illuminating songs of the lord of Yogins, Milarepa, were in the air.
Many afternoons Rinpoche would lead the nearly 200 sadhakas in practice up on the upper meadow of Karmê Chöling.
