In 1979, Rinpoche visits Karma Mingyu Ling in Montchardon.
Rinpoche offers 6 talks on the view and meditation on lack of personal self, 3 talks on chittamatra and on rangtong and 2 talks on shentong. As part of the shentong view, Rinpoche explains the homage to the three Jewels from Maitreya's Buddha Nature that he always offers as his initial prayers and explains in detail how shentong bridges the mahamudra view of vajrayana.
There is also a public evening talk summarizing all tenets.
