In June 1999 Rinpoche visited Kagyu Thubten Choling where he offered 10 talks on Chandrakirti's text.
In October 1999 Rinpoche was again invited by Lama Tashi Namgyal and Kagyu Shenpen Ösel Chöling to come to Seattle. The course was held at Nalanda West.
That year Rinpoche chose to go through all the root verses for the ten levels. For the sixth level, he excerpted the most important verses from Entering the Middle Way.
